How do I get the best price for a professional translation?

Many people who need certified or official translation services struggle to find the combination of quality and affordability. Translation services providers that offer very low prices rarely provide high quality translations because they usually keep their costs low by cutting corners or collaborating with inexperienced translators or even relying on machine translations. In general, translation services providers that focus on quality often rely on experts who are well paid for their high quality translations. At California Center for Translation & Interpretation we strive to provide accurate and high quality translations at the best prices. We aim to offer competitive prices without compromising quality on the services we provide. Nevertheless, you can follow the following steps to make sure you are getting the best prices from us:

Step 1:

If you do not need the translation urgently, please mention that in your email so we can provide a quote for regular service. Rush fee might apply if you have a tight deadline for the translation.

Step 2:

If you have many documents, please send them all at once. We might apply a discount for large projects. Likewise, if you need more than one language, please list all the languages you need so that we can review and get back to you with our best quote.

Step 3:

If possible, please provide editable files so our translators do not have to spend extra time formatting the documents. Additional fee might apply if our team members have to spend additional time on formatting the translations.

Step 4:

If you need a non-certified translation, please do not request a certified translation for court use. Many people who are not familiar with the industry assume a non-certified translation is the same as machine translation, requesting and paying for certified translations even if they do not require a certified translation for court purposes. We might charge extra for certified translations so if you do not need a certified translation, please request a non-certified translation.

Step 5:

Don’t ask for a hard copy if you don’t need it, and don’t order multiple copies if you just need one hard copy. In some cases we charge extra for hard copies. If you just need an electronic copy, please let us know when you get in touch with us.

Step 6:

Make sure you mark duplicate text (if any) so we don’t charge you twice for the same content.

We do our best to offer low prices, excellent customer service, and exceptional translation services. By following the steps above you can make sure you are getting the best deal. Please email your documents and questions to info@cacfti.com. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

I tried CACFTI’s certified translations (and here is what I liked best!)

We would like to thank one of our clients, Gabriela L., for providing the following testimonial:

Hello. My name is Gabriela. I was born in Guadalajara and got married in Mexico City in 2024. I was online a few days ago, searching for a translation services provider to translate my marriage license and birth certificate from Spanish to English. My attorney had informed me the other day that I needed a certified translation of my birth and marriage certificates for my Form I-485. Since I live in California search results quickly showed me CACFTI. I reviewed their website and decided to contact them.

What I liked best about CACFTI

  • -professional website/easy to find the information I needed
  • -quick responses to my emails
  • -price transparency/no hidden fees
  • -expertise in certified translations for USCIS
  • -quality of translation from Spanish to English and clear layout
  • -their willingness to answer all of my questions (since I had never done this I had several!)

Bottom line:

Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend California Center for Translation and Interpretation for the translation of any document from Spanish to English. I am very happy I found them and got to forward the translations to my attorney within 24 hours. I honestly received the best service I could have asked for. Give them a call (310) 584-7481 or email info@cacfti.com.

Quality

How do I know whether or not the quality of my translation is up to the industry’s standards?

In some cases people need to have certain documents translated into a language they do not know. Without knowing the target language, it is impossible to assess the quality of the translation you have received from a service provider. If you have a translation and you are not sure how good the quality is, you can submit it to a native speaker of the target language. If you do not know anyone who speaks the target language or knows it well enough to assess the quality of the translation, please get in touch with us. Our translators can review the translation and provide feedback.

editing services

What if my translation is not up to the industry’s standard?

If we have reviewed your translation and informed you that the quality is low or based on other sources you know that the quality of your translation is not up to the industry’s standards, we can redo the work for you. We can translate your document from scratch.

What if my translation is OK but needs improvements?

If the translation you supply is slightly below the industry’s standards we might be able to edit your translation to ensure accuracy and readability. This service might cost less than translation from scratch. Please email us your documents and translations for a quote.
